The skirt, or morga, [traditional
designation] is indigo blue with lighter blue pinstripes. The foot-loomed panels
are joined with a simple decorative randa, which is added by hand. The
Santiago belt, specific to the village, is a narrow black and white striped band,
which can be plain or brocaded. The ends are finished with multicolored braided
